1. We had a problem with one of the tumble dryers during our stay - somebody had obviously tumbled something with ink in it and it stained some of our clothes.

2. We often took the hotel shuttle bus into old town and never had a problem as Hotel always had a back up bus right behind if there were too many people for the first bus.

3. Had a problem with the air-conditioner and the management policy of problem-solving with 45 minutes was never resolved, so we checked out after 2 1/2 hours.

We were not going to stay here as it was too far out of the Key West downtown area but then we saw prices of hotels downtown, heard about parking problems in Key West, and everybody we spoke with warned about the homosexuals in downtown SO we chose this Hilton affiliated hotel which runs a shuttle bus every hr, and boy did we use it.

Just got back from 3 nights at the DoubleTree in Key West (May 21-24) Although there was a slight problem with the room when we checked in (they just sealed the tub and could not get rid of the Acetone smell), we were moved to another room after a short wait, given some drink coupons and everything worked out just fine.

8. This wasn`t a problem for us as we only had three bags, but I can see this as being a nuisance for people who `expect` to have bell service.
