1. We didn't bother renting a car (too expensive) but had no issues with the frequent shuttle schedule and easy pick up spots.

4. The continuous shuttles throughout the isalnd made transportation no issue at all.

5. One issue we had was that the hotel was a few miles from downtown/ Duval Street, so we had to take hotel transportation- the shuttle.

9. Many Key West devotees insist that you MUST stay in the heart of town, but Doubletree`s FREE shuttle was actually fun to ride, so that whole argument seemed a non-issue to me.
