1. This island, either the best or second-best known of the Florida Keys, depending on who you ask, has a quiet side (the east) and a loud side (the west), which features Duvall Street and all of the bars, culture, restaurants, and parties that it is known for.

4. Even when we were visiting Westin Resort (which is about one block away from Duval) the noise was so loud we were glad we weren`t staying at the Westin.

5. It gets really loud and rowdy especially once the sun sets, so if you need shuteye I highly recommend staying here.

My major complaint is that it is very loud, our room faced the pool & there were people at the pool at all hours of the night partying & screaming, two of the three nights of our stay there were weddings with the music so loud we could not get any sleep, we had a two year old with us & the last night we had to get up at 4:00 in the morning & we did not get any sleep.
