On the downside, it is definitely less convenient than the Grand and requires either a shuttle ride (one time took a staggering and incomprehensible 45 mins to reach my gate, despite being located in the airport) or a not-too-long walk that goes up and down a series of stairs through the parking lot and in the brutal Dallas heat.

5. The downside, though, is that the on-airport location means that the hotel has you trapped when it comes to services and meals.

6. That is one downside to the hotel - apparently it's very popular with conventions, and there was a large teen convention during the week, resulting in a long wait for the elevators until the group checked out early Saturday morning.
