1. After three bad meals on three different occasions I walked to a nearby deli in the mall connected to the hotel and had a wonderful omelet and toast for $5.

I just thought, overall, that there were a few little details that made this seem very much like a Marriott Concierge level, which is nothing bad--we appreciate those levels as well, but we certainly did reserve and pay for the club level with express expectations for a Ritz, not Marriott, experience.

4. bad news though: I paid a lot for a room which had a toilet that didn't flush adequately and on the second night, when I returned to my room, there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom.
