1. There are two computers in the lobby area that are for guests to use but they are SLOW.

5. The elevators ran in quick fashion - I had reviewed this property a few years ago and had complained about the slow elevators - the hotel seemed pretty busy during our stay but it seems like the problem was fixed? This is a great hotel to use as a base for walking to/from the Reds stadium.

6. + Historic building+ Friendly and competent staff- Small rooms (This didn't bother us, as we love older, historic properties, but if your preference is large/ultramodern, then this hotel may not be for you)- slow elevators (It's a big property, and there are only six elevators, shared by staff.

7. I agree with other reviewers that rooms are small and elevators could be slow, but so what? The service was top notch and all the historic detail was superb.

8. When I came home from my trip my wife had to meet me at the front door and slowly take my clothes, and everything out of my suitcase, put into plastic bags to go the the cleaners, be frozen etc.

9. Wanted a quiet weekend getaway - beautiful hotel and bar - slow bar service - we were on the 20th floor - large corner room overlooking skating rink - but the party that was allowed to rage on until 5:30 am Sunday morning and the dried blood on the bath towels and wash cloths will make us look for another downtown hotel to stay in - hallways not kept clean.
