1. The wife and I sat on wonderfully comfortable rocking chairs and watched the animals for hours.

2. We had a room where where we could see the animals from our balcony, but it isn't necessary as there are tons of common areas to sit in a rocking chair and take it all in.

4. If we wanted to see the Savannah with our coffee, we just walked out our door and across the hallway to the huge deck with rocking chairs overlooking the entire vista.

Go down one more level and you will find two very popular eating places Jiko (The Cooking Place - a more formal place to enjoy dinner) and Boma (an informal buffet open for breakfast and dinner) You can exit the lobby and go outside to a welcoming firepit complete with rocking chairs and many viewing areas to enjoy the animals out on the savannah.

9. The lobby is breath taking and a great place to relax plus it leads out to Arusha rock and you can see the animals on the savanna day or night.

10. We also really enjoyed that you could go out on Arusha rock, outside the main lobby, and speak to one of the cast members out there who were happy to provide you with information on the animals, and answer any questions you may have about them.
