1. As long as the rooms are clean and comfortable, I can put up with worn carpets and older fixtures.

2. The carpet was thin and worn, as was the chair, the mattress was lumpy, but the toilet only backed up twice a day, and the shower head only rattled when ever it needed tightening, so it wasn't all that bad.
