The Four Seasons Austin has mastered relaxed luxury and I don't know how they do it, but the
smell
of the hotel upon entering immediately takes you to some sort of place of zen.

so, why not rate the Four Seasons Austin a five star property? Because it is old and the rooms have limitations and
smell
like they are old, I could not in good conscience, give the property more than three stars.

The HVAC systems don't seem able to keep up with the humidity and on some floors, the stench of mold is so bad that staff will privately admit they regularly have to accomodate room changes to floors that don't
smell
like a mix between spilled sewage and the stench of water rot.
