1. The walls were indeed quite thin, so you could here everything in the hallways and noises from the rooms next door.

8. They had some nice touches including bolster pillows on the bed (nice for reading and TV watching) and an alarm/radio that could play soothing 'white noise.

9. In lieu of proving soundproof rooms perhaps the management could post signs in the hallways to ask guests to 'be considerate, our walls are paper thin so keep your noise level to a minimum - thanks in advance'.

10. I'm not sure what it was, but the central air conditioning or hallway air flow pipes, or something created a constant, loud whistling noise near the bathroom/hall.
