1. I read all of the previous reviews, balanced out the almost equal number of 'Excellent' and 'terrible' ratings, and paid most attention to those in the middle -'Poor', 'Average' and 'Very Good'.

2. the mattresses were extremely poor, the bedding was beyond terrible with holes in all blankets and marginal sheets to say it mildly.
