We decided to walk to Union Square which is not too far, the area between is even worse, the most
dangerous
place I have ever visited (Wikipedia Tenderloin district).

2 of us stayed for 3 nights and it served us perfectly and although it is opposite an 'adult store', it really doesn`t appear to be at all
dangerous
- certainly no where near as bad as some other reviews make out.
