Worst of all, when we returned from dinner we found that he had indeed gone up to our room, and instead of getting us a new proper fitted bottom sheet, had just turned the sheet that was already on the bed around and pulled it up, so the stain was at the bottom and the sheet was shorted on the bottom instead of the top (when we stretched our feet out they rested on bare mattress).

2. I agreed that yes, we had two sheets, but pointed out that the bottom sheet was not a proper fitted bottom sheet, did not completely cover the mattress, and was stained.

3. the sheet didn't cover the mattress all the way to the top and you could see the bare mattress underneath the sheet, which was also STAINED.

5. Everything about the building oozes old world charm and loving care, from the gargoyle corbel at the room`s ceiling and the carved cherub on the bathroom door, to the artwork and stained glass in the hallways.
