1. Rooms are old and dated, even though there's a flat screen tv, which I think is hilarious.

We did just want a cheap place to sleep while spending the day out doing stuff but cheap to me is clean even if basic and the Pickwick just seemed dated, musty, old beds, needed painting and replastering everywhere - this hotel hasn't seen any attention in a long time and obviously doesn't care to tend to it for future customers.

10. Our room was a double standard room, but we found that the air con didnt work, the wall lights didnt work, the room was scruffy and poorly decorated, and dated.
