You get what you pay for while not the most modern hotel it is in a great location, let me get the bad out of the way the paint was peeling off the walls in areas carpets do have stains on them BUT the hotel is right beside everything and the staff are very friendly and when you are in San Fran you don't spend much time in the rooms you go out and explore, it was more of a base than anything.
