8. yes it's downtown, but it's really the wrong end of downtown, and Pioneer Square, which is just to the south, is a sketchy area with few restaurants (despite what our tourbook said).

10. Wireless has become such a standard amenity that it feels wrong to be charged for it - like if they charged extra for pillows on the beds.
