1. The only small minor downsides were that the location being in the financial district makes it difficult to find coffee shops/stores open on weekends nearby, but a 5-10 minute walk seems to remedy that; and the air conditioning didn't get loud enough (we usually like to sleep with a fan on) nor cold enough - this also meant traffic (which is fairly minimal here on weekends) was a bit noisy.

2. Wouldn't go there with kids - would feel out of place and the access has steep stairs which could be difficult for little ones.
"Not your average business hotel...... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/16/2012 Vote
3. The lobby bar has a pool table, although it's a bit difficult to play on.

4. The room was well appointed with practical and attractive vintage items rather than beautiful decorative pieces which are difficult or impractical to use.

7. I found the coffee maker to be difficult to use; it's not a Mr Coffee like you'd usually see.

8. It was difficult to navigate around the bed to the window area without turning sideways to squeeze past that dresser.

10. Worst amenities: street noise, decor (too dull and masculine), seating in the bar for breakfast (low and uncomfortable for dining), and elevators (slow and cramped with unfinished interiors), in-room safe ( it was too large for the closet space and needed to be turned sideways to fit, which made accessing it very difficult ).
"It`s nice, but not ready for prime time " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/29/2008 Vote
