1. That night, I tried to log onto my laptop, but got no Wi-Fi, so I called the guy crammed in the small desk downstairs, he informed me he had gotten several complaints of the same problem and that I should try again in the morning.

5. Yes, there are people who are homeless or have addiction problems, but they`re people just like us, and during our stay at this location we never felt threatened in any way.

8. While we didn`t have a problem walking around the area during the day, we chose to take advantage of the hotel`s free shuttle to travel back from Union Square each evening after dark.

9. Breakfast arrived right on cue and the free shuttle bus service to and from Union Square was designed, I am sure, to overcome the problems highlighted by others, of the immediate neighbourhood.

10. The positive aspects of The Carriage Inn far outweigh any such problems and this hotel should be seriously considered by those who seek spacious, beautifully maintained rooms, outstanding, attentive service, great value, and a convenient location.
