The bathroom had those
tiny
hexagon tiles on the floor, which reminded me of my first apartment 40 years ago (as did the quaint wood cabinets and fittings of the kitchenette) but I could not help worrying how clean they could get it, really.

The hotel is full of character - from the retro style lobby, to the ancient,

elevator.

Most important of all, a free parking garage (that is if your car is small enough to fit through the

driveway) which is great since parking in this area can run you about $38 a night.

Ask ayt the reception to mark on the map Gant street as there is the oldest bar in SF called the Saloon and Friday and Saturday nigts it is rammed out as they have live blues groups on and the place is
