3. There were lots of other families with children, and if you wanted to avoid noisy children, I would avoid this hotel, or ask to stay on the top floor in the back, which was more quiet.

7. You can walk along Lombard Street up a very steep hill to `The Crookedest St` part and catch the cable cars (trolley) to the cable car museum and on to Union Square thus avoiding 30-60 minute queues at the terminus.
