1. A minor complaint was that on my last night, having arrived back from the Alcatraz night cruise at about 10:30 and going for my last cocktail - a cleaner started mopping up behind me at 11:10pm (the bar closed at 11pm) not what I had come to expect after a week at this lovely hotel - but the night staff were very apologetic and stressed this would be something they wouldn't allow to happen in future.
