1. Minor room problems were easily resolved.

2. The only problem is that the service isn't available between midnight and 6am which meant we had to get creative on the last day to make sure the car was available at 5am so we could make our flight.

5. To be fair, San Francisco has a problem with aggressive pan-handling but that's not the fault of Hotel Rex so I didn't allow that to factor in to my review here.

6. I haven't slept through the night in years do to health problems, but this bed was so comfortable I slept over 8 hours without waking once.

7. Excellent service from all staff - from check-in (which was a bit earlier than the stated time, but not a word of a problem) through to the cleaners.

8. Check-out was pretty late without problems, valet parking for the rental car was no worries (I believe it was 35 USD per day) and the location can't be much better for SF's city centre.

9. When we hit technical difficulties receiving an international phone call, the staff were great and went out of their way to fix the problem as soon as possible.

10. I'm betting the 'slanted room problem' could easily have been resolved by our requesting to move to another room, but we got too wrapped up in having fun in San Fran.
