Free wine at the end of the day and a long list of amenities including free wi-fi do not diminish the monastic,
claustrophobic
experience of the dark hallways and the tiny rooms, rooms without views or sunlight to announce the dawn.

We liked the hotel, but the rooms are small and would be terribly
claustrophobic
except for the fact that the window could be opened.

Ours was a deluxe double, and it was only because the window could be opened that it wasn't
claustrophobic
