1. There's no free wifi, which is a downside.

3. The only downside to our stay, which was not the hotel's fault, was that we were woken up around 4am by other guests returning drunk and shouting loudly in the corridor.

4. The only two downsides are that parking is exceptionally expensive ($48 a day) and the beds are not very comfortable, particularly for this kind of otherwise great hotel.

5. The hotel is only a few blocks from the Ferry Building (near the Bay Bridge), 2 blocks away from Chinatown, and a few blocks north of the nicer part of Market Street (with plenty of nice shops)The downside of the hotel are twofold, one is temporary, the cable car was not working while we were there, it was highlighted on their website that it runs right outside the hotel, and no one from the hotel notified us until we had asked about it.

6. The only downside we encountered in the entire trip was one night when we arrived back at the hotel late after attending the Wicked play - which we also very much enjoyed - the hotel restaurant was closed and the late night room service menu was extremely limited.

7. The only downside I would have to say is that valet parking is pretty much mandatory ($30 a day) but other than that, this was easily one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to.

8. The downsides to this hotel are (1) parking with tax is about $54 per night, but that's pretty much a standard SF hotel rate.

9. Only downside was the first meal in the hotel restaurant - expensive and not particularly tasty but lots of excellant restaurants nearby - especially Perbacco and Kokkari Esatoria.
