1. unfortunately the turn down people don't seem used to the idea-- they'd take away dirty mugs but didn't replace them (promptly remedied with a call to housekeeping, but i'd already made the coffee when i noticed.

2. It's unfortunately ruined probably every other hotel in SF for us (and we've stayed at a few), because it is so absolutely perfect.

Due to a previous unfortunate experience at the bar, which had been picked up through various social network sites by the hotel itself, I had a bottle of wine and chocolates and fruit waiting for me on arrival, that was just a start of the quality of service and attention to detail I experienced.

6. unfortunately, the toast was always lukewarm, never enough to melt butter on and we were charged for bacon that we never got one day, but when I pointed it out on the bill, they were very apologetic and corrected the bill immediately.

7. unfortunately, once we made it to the area where we were supposed to enter the car, another employee apologized for the mix up, explaining that the car couldn`t take us because our restaurant was outside the hotel`s one-mile radius and that we would need to head back out front to try for a cab again.

8. unfortunately the only bad part was that there were protestors outside, but it didn`t stop us from getting the room, they were outstide of almost every hotel.
