1. Also, just not a fan of the overall style of the rooms--I understand they are supposed to look urban and sophisticated--somehow they wind up feeling dark and a little institutional/cheap.

(we had emailed them and asked if we could drop off our luggage as we expected to arrive too early to check in, we really didnt expect to be able to get into our room this early)Our room was just fabulous, entered from a quiet corridor and decorated in a simple sophisticated style which added to the air of luxury.
