1. Again, to their credit, once notified, maintenance promptly repaired the problem, but how is it that something like this had gone undetected and unrepaired? Details.

3. Each hotel has a few rooms with some problems, I felt 305 was that room.

4. The hotel staff could not have been kinder or more efficient in cleaning up problems and at check-out they had preemptively comped a number of items on our bill.

7. My only criticism would be the bath tub could do with an update & it was annoying that when I ran the bath the old style plug wouldn't stay in position with the taps running - can't believe nobody else has not had this problem.

8. On the lows: not the best beds we've had, no aircon in the room from 4am and though the front office manager was quick and efficient to propose a lower rate this is not the kind of problem you would expect in such a hotel.

9. The only major problem was a late-night party on the roof that went until 3 am: I did not hear it, but my sister on the Lex Ave side was kept up and the front desk was unsympathetic and did not have earplugs.

10. Not really a problem if you are staying for one night but for longer than that, I could imagine it would become an issue.
