3. Having just enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Ritz in San Francisco prior to flying to New York , we can only say that the Pierre was a HUGE disappointment.

The concierge got on to it and had our refund in minutes and a nice table at an Italian around the corner from the hotel for dinner (This really turned a disappointing stressful start to the holiday into a lovely evening which we really appriciated and on Valentines night I`m sure reservations wern`t easy on such short notice)For the rest of our stay the staff were lovely.

9. The bathroom was a disappointment - art deco style I think but chipped tiles, not a large bathtub but the separate shower was ok.
