1. We used both the air conditioning and heat (neither one for very long a time) and didn't have a problem with either as other posters reported.

2. Major disappointment was that the ice cream bars in the pantry must have melted at some point in time, because there was a puddle in the wrapper, outside the chocolate :-( They did refund the charge (we opened several and all had the same problem), but that didn't satisfy my dessert fix.

6. Overall, nice perks of the Homewood Suites, but it is loud, not in the greatest part of town (but safety is a minor issue in my mind), but the staff has problems with matching online reservations and prices to reality.

7. They messed up on my room rate even with me confirming twice what the price would be and then messed things up on how they reported in on my credit card--which affected bonus points (but I also corrected that problem later on).

8. I did not notice any problems with keeping the breakfast area stocked as some recent reviews have commented on.

9. My first two stays were mediocre at best - as other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel has a SERIOUS street noise problem.
