A bit
shabby
around the edges, the furniture was still cozy with a European feel.

The Mayflower Park is a lovely hotel - lots of charm and by that, I do not mean a
shabby
hotel that was once nice.

The room was
shabby

I am used to getting overlooked by staff members as I usually travel in
shabby
t-shirts, jeans and a back back, but everyone from the doormen to the front desk to the guest service staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful.

Although the decor in the room was a little dated, it was not what I would call
shabby
-- and the room was kept very clean.

The second room was adequate however it faced the street so there was some noise and the room was fairly small, dingy and rather dated in a
shabby
kind of way rather than quaint.

The rooms were a bit noisy, and the seemed a little
shabby
in comparison to other hotels in the area.
