1. We got complimentary champagne upon check in, a ride to our restaurant a few blocks away, and a button and sewing kit to replace a broken one.

2. I had broken a button and presented it to the concierge to see if they could find a replacement and, when we returned to the room, there was a sewing kit on the counter with a perfect match for the button taped to the box.

4. I handed a list of broken things to the front desk person when I checked out, and he just said sorry, and didn`t offer up any sort of rebate or consolation for the shortcomings.

5. So although I love the hotel and the price point, I felt they could have given us a bit more consideration with either attempting to fix the broken TV/console/remote, or giving us another room, or some sort of discount on the room, or a discount on a future stay would`ve been fine too.

7. Also, our desk lamp was broken and just hanging off it`s base.
