1. When I complained to the bellman, he said, 'technically' it is an ocean view but admitted it wasn't a good view.

As for the parking situation and the price for it, if these people who are complaining about this did just little research before coming to Hawaii they would have seen that EVERY SINGLE HOTEL ON OHAU will charge you one of the two: a $30 parking fee or a $30 resort fee (although some greedy stupid hotels will try and charge you both).

3. When I could not take it any longer and complained to a Marriott employee, they promptly got security down and dealt with parents--and then hung around awhile to make sure the kids piped down.

When we checked out I complained that we paid more for an ocean view but our room had no view and the front desk clerk after 10 minutes did revise our rate to the non-ocan view category, but why make us even ask? Why take a room that even the front desk acknowledges has no view and try to pass it off as a view room? We only stayed here for one night on our way to Molokai - and the only reason we stayed here was to use their water slide.

7. I complained of course but they said it was a goverment imposed rate - really?We were supposed to have a studio with an ocean view but got a view of another tower.
