3. noise was not a problem with doors closed and AC on, but with the windows and doors open (the way I like it) it was bothersome.

4. Lugging heavy luggage up 3 flights was very hard and I am sure the neighbors did not appreciate the noise.

5. I thought the area would be nosiy and busy and it's true on the main stretch in front of the hotel there is traffic, but the hotel removed from the street that there's no street noise, just ocean.

Pros: large room; clean facilities; no bugs in room and very few bugs outside since it's usually windy or breezy due to being so near to the ocean; friendly service staff; clean pool (water was a little salty though); quiet facilities (noise died at 9pm); family-friendly (kiddie pool, sandbox with toys, daily weekday schedule of at least 3 kid-friendly activities such as basket-weaving, lei-making, etc.

7. We were on the second floor, in room 3209, and did not have any problem with noise either from above or below, except to hear water running occasionally.
