3. Our only somewhat negative experience at the resort was dinner at the Hukilau Lanai--service was disappointing, which may well have simply been a fluke, but portions were small, and food preparation was uneven.

9. I agree wholeheartedly with all those who rated the Kauai Coast Resort 'excellent,' and I can't imagine that the one negative rating I see on this page stayed at the same place we stayed at in August 2003.
