1. This hotel should be avoided unless you are paying a few $ a night, the hotel rooms are lacking and need to be overalled, things in the room just don't work, A/C, Bathroom, electrical etc.

2. It's better suited for young singles or groups looking to have fun in Miami, who don't mind the lack of a pool or bar.

3. The staff at the front desk of the Metropole was always unfriendly and unapologetic for the lack of cleanliness of our room, the lack of facilities and was completely unhelpful in every way.
"Worst experience of my life!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/7/2009 Vote
4. Also the lack of mirrors should have been obvious to a person.
"A Room with no MIRRORS OR LIGHT " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/31/2008 Vote
5. As for the Metropole, for the weekday rate of about $100 per night that we paid, I guess it was satisfactory -- however, had we been paying the weekend rate ($250-300) for the same (lack of) service we received, we would have rated this experience as poor or well below average.
"A real mixed bag " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/22/2008 Vote
6. Dark, dark rooms - bring a torch, the rooms are dingy lack of mirrors, as a girly struggled to do my makeupProbably would not book this hotel again.
"OK, met our needs " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/21/2008 Vote
7. slept wellBig room, accomodated our daughter on the bed settee in the living room which was all prepared for usCentral locationDown points:lack of real customer service, general interest in what/where to go by the front desk.

8. The room itself, 204, on the first floor, though of a reasonable size is dark and depressing due to the lack of natural light.
