1. The whole group (of boutique hotels) looked the same - old, run down places that are being given a face lift but in serious need of employing an interior designer, the dark purple walls with low lighting are depressing and a bathroom is the size of the dressing room ie small with water runnning everywhere when you have a shower.
"Don't use this group " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/26/2009 Vote
2. PROS:-Very nice staff-New and designer furniture-Large room-Free muffin & Newspaper on weekend-Full mini kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, sink, microwave)-Free internet (Wifi)-2 large screen plasma TV (bedroom & living)-iHome music + RadioCONS:-Dark & depressing wooden floor and wall painting (if you open the curtains you want to close it again as the view is not nice, some garbage by roof)-Big closet space but tiny tiny bathroom with no tub and no shelfspace for anything.
"Clean with a designer look and feel - Not for everybody " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/28/2008 Vote
3. The site itself is reasonable ,being only a block from Ocean Drive with its lively nightlife however this end of Collins Ave is rather downmarket and depressing.
"Dissapointed with the Metropole " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/30/2008 Vote
4. The room itself, 204, on the first floor, though of a reasonable size is dark and depressing due to the lack of natural light.
