1. It's close to the beach and club, not so expensive.

It is 1 block away from the beach/Ocean drive, down the road from Walgreens supermarket (get cold drinks/snacks for beach), over the road from a lovely bistro that you could visit for breakfast (avoid Jerry's it's SO overated and expensive), all the clubs - Dreams, Cameos, Mansion, SoBe etc are a short walk away or an even shorter and cheap cab ride away.

3. The lobby bar is always out of the domestic bottles so we were always forced to buy the more expensive imports when we wanted a beer - clever of them huh.
