1. #2- Although a room facing the front is desirable, if you open windows at night, you can be awakened by traffic noise.

2. The room door was poorly fit in the jamb allowing noise to enter but thankfully it was a quiet weekend, Also no on site restaurant or lounge in service but a multitude of excellent choices nearby.

3. I saw people with dogs there (don't know the fee), but never heard one bark or any outside traffic noise.

Our first room was clean and comfortable but there was quite a bit of noise from air conditioning units outside so we asked to move and it was no trouble at all and we were shown several other rooms before we chose the one we were happy with at the back of the hotel overlooking a terrace and a view of Washington.

5. CONS: not clean (I had to wipe lots of hair from the floor and bathtub, the towels and washing clothe were not laundered well) and not comfortable (very small, no ventilation) bathroom; noise from the street, dated and tired ambiance, elevators had some problems opening the doors on our floor.
