However, even if we had been on another wing/floor but were at the end of the hall, I am sure this noise still would have been a

as the alley paralleled one side of hotel.

The main
problem
was that there are massive gaps under the doors to the adjoining rooms, so if they're occupied you can hear EVERYTHING.

Sunday night noise wasn't a
problem
at all, but just be aware that if you go during the weekends, you'll want to use those earplugs if your room overlooks the street.

The room seemed pretty clean, which does not explain the ant
problem
in our bathroom, but maybe there were due for a spraying.
