1. One annoying thing is that you have to pay $10/chair to rent chairs/umbrellas on the beach (from Marriott) which seems unreasonable since we're paying guests of the hotel.

2. Yes, it was annoying; but really only if you're eating on the patio or sitting by the pool.

3. I paid $599 for oceanfront with balcony, so that's expensive, but still $200-$500 less per night than those annoying places (Delano, Setai) further up the beach with much lower quality rooms.
