1. The issue of no air conditioning (we were well aware of this having stayed here in the past), was more of a problem this time as the weather was very hot and humid.

2. We did have an issue with the internet, but a representative from the cable company (contacted by the front desk) promptly fixed the issue (an outdated cable modem) and we had high speed internet for the week.

5. As mentioned earlier, the buildings are very old, and the air in Kauai is always humid, so if you have mold issues or allergies, this is not a recommended place to stay.

7. You could occasionally hear sirens pass along the road from the nearby fire station but overall road noise was not an issue for us.

8. We booked this condo and prepaid in Feb for the August stay with specific requests: A unit NOT at the noisy road and NOT on the upper floors (I have knee issues) So of course when we arrived we were assigned one on the noisy road and up several flights.

9. This was not an issue as the resort provided us a courtesy room to use to shower and freshen up before heading to the airport.
