1. HOWEVER, we returned with a friend visiting from Italy for lunch one day - specifically for the view and steak and, while the view was still great (sans WTC, of course) the food was embarrassingly bad.

5. On another night we closed the evening with a slice of chocolate pie or cake, while not bad, it was barely average.

6. The bad: people can see right into your window from the boardwalk outside, lots of noise from the river (hotel is on a pier, so sometimes you can hear the water sloshing beneath the hotel).
