1. I was hoping the room would be better, but it was the same- old, outdated, and in desperate need of renovations.

2. My wife and i stayed at the Ilima Hotel from the 26th of Feb - 10th of March of this year and loved every single day we were there, the staff were absolutely awesome and catered to our every need, we stayed in room 502 its huge and very tidy with two very comfortable double beds unlike other reviewers i wouldn't call the decor outdated but more classic with plenty character, our kitchenette was clean and tidy with a stove/oven, microwave, full size fridge, electric jug and had all the utensils needed to cook and enjoy a meal when all you felt like was a bit of home cooking, the room came with cane furniture which was nice and has a dinning table for four and also a 42inch? flat screen television.

3. Rooms are with kitchen ( bit outdated but all works )My view was to kuhio side so not much to see even 12th floor, Ala wai side might be better, and that would be also to morning sun side, cooler at evenings, Room type was Superior Studio and it was enough spacy to me, with 2 big beds, comfy enough for 4 if needed and not too soft or hard.
