6. the windows do not shut completely so it was very noisy with the dump trucks in the early morning (5 am) and bar noise late at night (10 pm).

7. i am not sure does all buildings window ( balcony ) sound proof there, you can hear noise coming from kuhio ave specially friday and saturday nights when crowds tend to be out late, specially those 17-25y old spend time there.

9. The only noise you hear is the garbage trucks at night (but everyone I met along our travels, at different hotels heard them) There is a grocery store 5 min walk for groceries (Foodland), kinda expensive, but does the trick for food for the room.

10. What more can you ask for? (my husband would say a softer bed but I slept fine)The only complaint that I had was the noise level from outside the hotel--but we were on a lower floor (hence, part of the value) and it WAS Saturday night in Waikiki.
