1. My only minor complaint is that we could hear street noise at night, but this was expected being in the city.

3. My only wish is they had at least a small pool (or access to a pool close by) and the street noise was not as bad, but then again, the hotel is in the middle of Waikiki which is a huge plus.

4. Didn't notice noise or barking from other rooms - didn't even see any dogs when we were there - think it's just great that people CAN bring their pets with them.

5. There's not much you can do about the noise factor - it's centrally located and easy to get to so many restaurants, beach, bus, etc.

6. Although the hotel is within walking distance from the beach the noise from the multiple bars at street level created excessive noise that it was difficult to sleep.

8. be careful about booking here on a holiday weekend as we had several people partying in the rooms around us who were coming into Waikiki for the thanksgiving long weekend and also the Sat night was a nightmare with myself and one daughter on the sofa bed the noise from the bar underneath the hotel kept us half the night with screaming and car noises.

Its a very tired old hotel which friends told me used to be the cheapest nasiest one in Waikiki but as with all Aquas it has had a tart up and overall furniture/fittings are to a pretty good standard but the aspect from the balconies is really ugly and being a low rise hotel the street noise and bin collection are the ususal pain as with any low rise hotel.

10. Street noise is one of the CONS about the property, especially if you are on a low floor and are a light sleeper - the Garbage Truck is SUPER NOISY and can't be avoided, and sometimes it gets rowdy outside during the early wee hours of morning as the late-night party crowd disburses.
