8. Because parking in Honolulu is hard to come by I called ahed to the hotel (about a month early) and reserved my parking for my arrival which they had waiting when we rolled in at 1am.

9. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and the night staff always greeted me by my first name(which is quite hard and difficult to pronounce).
