1. Building is old 60's style cinderblock construction with exterior walkways and room entrances.

5. Stayed on the 6th floor and a few nights there was construction that started as early as 5 or 6am, so if you're a light sleeper I recommend earplugs, but the door to the lanai was pretty thick, so the noise wasn't that bad.

7. Upon arrival, there was obviously construction going on but it was well isolated from the main areas of the hotel, looked about complete, and the workers were super friendly; holding doors and smiling with fresh hellos at all encounters.
