1. I dont think the hotel is unclean as previously stated I just think it is so worn and old that you couldnt possibly have it 'clean', there is limescale, chipping paint and marks that soap and sprays could not remove, it will have to be refitted at some point, as It surely cannot last ten more years in this condition - It would not be legal in the UK.

2. The shower is nice and powerful although not always controllable and would suddenly give you a hot or cold blast, as with the other fixtures it was worn, and full of limescale, but it worked.

3. The rooms are very worn, years of chipped paintwork, broken parts, marks on walls and the electric system should be condemmned.

4. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy, and yes the whole place is a little care-worn, but the stand-out features were the friendliness of the hotel staff, the fact you can get decent food at good prices without leaving the hotel (REALLY miss those breakfasts), and of course the location.

5. Yes, it was a bit worn-looking, but scrupulously clean, with a working TV with all the channels, nice bed-side lights, big windows looking out on to the street, and an immaculate bathroom.
