1. Sure, the Harrington is in an ideal location but that doesn't make up for the old, moldy, smelly rooms.
"Central location doesn't offset the old rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/23/2012 Vote
2. The antique A/C vent with rod above the bed hadn't been cleaned in ages and had a build up of dust and possibly mold on it and the ceiling around it.
"Great location, nice staff, poorly kept rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/9/2011 Vote
3. There were numerous stains on the floors, mold and other stains on our curtains, the pillows stunk, there were food crumbs in one of the beds, 'fur' growing out of the a/c vent, exposed electrial wires everywhere, and when we asked to borrow an extension cord as there was only one available outlet in our room, we were told they were banned from the hotel (which told us the electrical was not up to par).
"Horrible and should be condemned! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/10/2011 Vote
4. No mold or diseases lurking on the walls or in the corners.
"Clean, safe and very, very helpful. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2010 Vote
5. Wall paper was peeling off the walls, bathrooms are very dirty (mold on walls), and the furniture was cheap and worn out.

6. The bathroom was covered in mold, the window was duct tapped shut, the wallpaper was ripped from the wall in some areas and a dirty exposed light bulb hung from the ceiling.

7. The room smelled like MOLD, the TV didn't work, the bathroom had hair from the previous person, the bed was sprung, the carpet was stained and smelly.

8. There was ancient fixtures in the bathroom (I'm talking 1950's) and no less than three different types of mold or mildew on the shower walls.
