2. I had read that the hotel was dated or noisy by a couple of negative reviews, but it was beautiful, very clean and actually very surprisingly quiet.

10. The old lift was novel and needed a bellboy to operate it but we did not feel obliged to tip every time we used it (on 8th floor) and there was no negative feedback from staff about this.
